In the post-modern, internet century we’re living in, we almost don’t have a chance to stay out of the consumption community. Consuming everything in a prepared/present state, ends our producer sides except our occupational roles –what only expected from us- in the community. In this century, which many sociologs think, this madly consuming process will be replaced by self-production again. By means of my project, I aimed to give the end users, the chance of making their own production according to their needs and desires.

With my project, it is aimed for the users, to prepare their own wines with desired taste, sugar, alcohol and acidity levels with any fruits, vegetables or any food that have nutritive value, by the help of the actobacteries that have re-planned DNAs and that can decrease reaction time to 4 hours. Thus, we can prepare our wine with desired properties in 4 hours.

When the wine is made for table, or in the limits of daily use; it can be filled into its own carafe and we can serve it this way; or, if we make it for storage, it can be filled into the standart wine bottles which my product is compatible for them. The product has 2 divisions. In the 1st one, alcoholic fermantation and pressing occurs; and in the 2nd, inside of the carafe or bottle, malolactic fermantation occurs. As the values given by the product, according to the properties of the food inside can be accepted as it is; by the buttons on the product, according to personal desires, thermal intervention can be provided, and sugar, acid and alcohol levels can be controlled.

Hayyam is a famous poet and scientist who lived in 11th century and known with his poems and passion for wine.
